I represent an agricultural company newly incorporated in Nicaragua. The company is trying to ascertain brokerage and duty costs of importing a FCL of construction equipment, namely power tools, labouring tools and measuring instruments to Nicaragua for reasons of maintaining and improving the company’s farm’s infrastructure.
We cannot provide a complete manifest of the shipment at this stage, however is it possible for you to provide information on how the import duties and brokerage fees will be calculated for this equipment, given the nature of our business?
Additionally, we are seeking a firm price estimate for the shipping of the container (6m). Is this a service that ILG can also provide? The shipment will be leaving from Darwin Australia, with the final destination of Granada Nicaragua.
